This program will cover topics including:
Eligibility to Attend Public School; Elements of Residency; Residency Determinations and Family’s Right to Challenge and Appeal Residency Determinations; Students of Divorced Parents; Homeless Students; Nonresident Students

Presenter:  Stephanie M. Roebuck, Esq.
Member, Keane & Beane, P.C.

  Stephanie M. Roebuck, along with members and associates of Keane & Beane, represents numerous public school districts as General Counsel, Labor Counsel and Special Education Counsel in Westchester, Putnam and Rockland Counties, NY. Ms. Roebuck regularly handles school litigation matters in both state and federal courts, appeals to the Commissioner of Education, impartial special education hearings under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act and Education Law, employee disciplinary proceedings pursuant to the Education Law and Civil Service Law and discrimination and/or retaliation claims before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and State Division of Human Rights.
