ALL ABOUT ANIMALS: A REVIEW OF THE CIVIL AND CRIMINAL ASPECTS PERTAINING TO ANIMAL MATTERS

2.0 CLE Credits in Professional Practice*

Our society reveres our animals, so much so that we consider our pets family members. This program will be presented by two knowledgeable practitioners who focus their practice on the care and treatment of animals. One is a career prosecutor, who prosecutes animal cruelty crimes, ranging from animal fighting and animal hoarding to intentional injuring or killing and neglect and abandonment of household pets. The other is an experienced mediator, dedicated to helping people who love animals to resolve conflicts involving animals, focusing them on the best outcomes for the animal and a workable solution for the people involved. They will provide information explaining the relevant statutes and case law concerning animal matters.
